Students will begin registering for their courses on March 1st through their 2nd period class. Students need to have the following documents on their classes registration day:
Registration Cover Sheet
Course Selection Sheet- Signed by Parent and Student
Waiver Form-only if varying from your teacher recommendation
AP Commitment Form- only if signing up for an AP Course. Only 1 Form needs to be turned in per year.
Early Graduation Form- only if current 10th graders are attempting to graduate 1 year early (discuss with your counselor)
Mid Year Graduation Form- only if current 11th graders are attempting to graduate after 1st semester (discuss with your counselor)
Early Release/Late Arrival Form- only if current 11th graders are attempting to request dropping a class period next year (not guaranteed)
Students have been approved for application courses- Students need to have their advisers signatures on their registration form.
Once Registration is over on March 31st, student will receive a Course Verification form in April. This will allow students to look over their course selections and to change any of their original courses they chose. The next date that everything will be due is May 26th. The last verification form will be sent to students on May 31st. There will be no changes after that.
*At this time, students will be unable to view their teacher recommendations in Powerschool. Therefore, recommendations will be handed out to students in 2nd Period on MONDAY. Until then, students are welcome to visit their teachers to request their recommendation for their core course.
